As a SCADA developer, your duties will focus on designing, configuring, and deploying systems in a railway setting. You will configure existing systems and plan the deployment of devices, computers, and instruments that are a part of the SCADA system. You will also perform some maintenance and handle update responsibilities for software and hardware within the system

Behavioural skills

- Fluent in English (French an asset), with excellent oral and written communication skills as well as good presentation skills

- Ability to describe technical information in easy-to-understand terms

- Ability to make technical decisions

- Discretion (since confidential data is held on computer systems)

- Problem-solving skill, technical and organised mind

Requirements

Must Have:
- SCADA development experience





- Good experience with SCADA and DAC (Data Acquisition and Control) architecture and their typical devices as well as with their typical functionality and difficulties encountered during integration

- Good knowledge on Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

- Good knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC UA, SNMP, DNP3, BACnet, Modbus)

- Good knowledge on PLC, RTUs, SCADA servers.

- Good experience with troubleshooting strategies, tools (sniffers, scopes, analyzers), troubleshooting reports

- Experience in Railway Signalling (ATS, IXL…) is preferred

Nice to Have
- Bilingual – Fluent - French/English
