As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background in foundation design, you will have the prospect to work on engineering and geotechnical projects in a multi-discipline project team environment. You will be responsible for developing cost effective, practical geotechnical engineering designs and construction solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

- Work on a variety of small to large projects spanning from transportation, building construction; commercial and industrial developments as well as infrastructure work
- Planning, conducting, and supervising geotechnical investigations
- Evaluating geologic conditions and geotechnical characteristics for assessment and design of shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures and earth structures




- Analyzing field data and preparing detailed engineering reports and recommendations
- Preparing proposals, budgeting and scheduling of technical field staff
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff members
- Communicating with clients and sub-consultants and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

Qualifications
- University degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a geotechnical consulting environment
- Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- Strong technical design skills
- Foundation design experience
- Communication and organizational skills to manage projects and act as a technical resource for the team
- Proven track record in developing and sustaining client relationships
- Understanding of multi-disciplinary design teams with experience of collaborating across projects
- Solid business acumen and strong client management experience
