About the Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer who is ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you'll work alongside a highly skilled team, collaborate closely with project managers and construction professionals, and contribute to a wide range of commercial and institutional projects. Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, multi-family, and light industrial projects.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support design-build projects from initial concept through construction completion.
- Review designs to ensure constructability, coordination,



and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Provide technical support and respond to design-related inquiries during construction.
- Identify opportunities to improve design quality, project efficiency, and overall project delivery.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Experience working on commercial, institutional, light industrial, and multi-family building projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Working knowledge of the BC Building Code, BC Plumbing Code, and applicable HVAC design standards.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 | Advantages
