About the Opportunity:

Geo Resource Ltd is currently working with a client seeking a Senior Mine Geologist for a underground gold mine in Northern British Columbia. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the early stages of a significant mining operation, contributing directly to its success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and implement grade control processes to maximize ore recovery and minimize dilution.

- Conduct underground geological mapping, sampling, and interpretation to support mine planning and production.

- Collaborate with the mine operations team to ensure accurate ore definition and optimal extraction strategies.

- Assist in developing and maintaining the geological block model, ensuring alignment with production forecasts.

- Work closely with the Chief Geologist, providing insights and recommendations to optimize mine performance.

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all geological activities.

- Mentor and support junior geologists,



fostering professional growth within the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Degree in Geology or a related field.

- Underground gold or hard rock mining experience is essential.

- Strong knowledge and experience in grade control methodologies.

- Experience working in an active production environment within an underground mine.

- Proficiency in geological software (e.g., Leapfrog, Datamine, Vulcan, or similar).

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting.

- Commitment to safety and best practices in underground mining operations.
