Potential – Are you looking to leverage your metallurgy expertise on complex and strategic industrial projects? As a Senior Metallurgist , you will join a team recognized for its expertise in process development and mineral processing plant engineering, where your knowledge will directly contribute to resource optimization, technical innovation, and the successful delivery of large-scale projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to define project needs and present technical information, concepts, and study outcomes.

Establish design criteria, develop mass balances, define process flow diagrams, size and select process equipment, and prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs;). Develop laboratory test programs, oversee their execution, and analyze the resulting data. Review and produce tender packages, technical specifications, and related engineering documents.

Act as a Qualified Person (QP) for technical reports. Provide supervision and guidance to technicians, drafters, and project metallurgists. Assist project managers and team leads as required. Carry out other related tasks that support market growth and successful project delivery.

Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline. ~Membership in a recognized professional engineering association, in good standing. ~ Experience in consulting engineering (an asset). ~ Bilingualism is required because the individual will participate in national initiatives requiring communication with English- and French-speaking clients.
