About the job:

Our employer, a leading provider of social gaming solutions in the US and Canada is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Keele & Steeles, in the office) who can design and write test automation scripts for new or existing software. If you are an experienced software test automation engineer with a development mindset, experience with building an infrastructure (MUST HAVE!), and commitment towards excellence in quality - this is the position for you!

Responsibilities:

- Utilize standard test automation frameworks to design
- Build and maintain programs/scripts that run automated tests on code produced by the team Analyze and identify test scenarios to be automated
- Deliver requested automation scripts in an Agile model with efficiency and accuracy ensuring automation best practices.
- Continuously improve automated testing methodologies to enable QA SMEs to maximize test coverage of the full depth of enterprise product

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with web-based applications and API web services.
- Experience with Azure Test Plans is highly advantageous.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing robust automation frameworks from scratch.
- Proficiency with tools such as SOAP UI,



Postman, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Proficient in writing SQL/NoSQL queries.
- Scripting experience with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Xray, and test management tools like HP ALM.
- Excellent understanding of QA processes and hands-on experience in preparing testing artifacts such as test plans, strategies, test cases, and status reports.
- Experience with Agile principles and flexibility to adapt to new and evolving environments.
- Experience in the gaming industry is considered an asset.
