The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for the full recruiting cycle, managing multiple roles across departments, including sourcing, recruiting, and hiring of mid-to senior level qualified professionals for technical and non-technical positions. This is an integral role operating as a recruiter and partnering with the business to deliver strategic talent sourcing initiatives, provide coaching to hiring managers and teams, as well as ensuring alignment for productive and exceptional hiring. This role works in a consultative manner with internal stakeholders to successfully source talent, promote the employer brand, provide recruiting and hiring metrics to assess the overall pipeline health, and manage the candidate experience.

Partner models effective interviewing techniques and provides coaching and training for hiring managers, recruiting peers and interview participants using legal and effective interview questions and assessment criteria.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full talent acquisition cycle with a focus on technical and business/corporate roles. Most hiring roles will be based in Canada, however, some roles may be located in the USA and UK markets, as needed.
- Partner with hiring managers to:
- Understand the team’s talent acquisition needs and specifics of each role by asking questions and providing solutions based on previous experience to develop a recruitment strategy and talent pipeline for each position
- Creatively draft job postings using captivating language that captures the essence of the role and will grab candidates’ interest
- Use creative and innovative sourcing solutions to find high-potential candidates with a focus on diversifying the applicant pool
- Plan and support attraction events that market the employer brand
- Assist with narrowing down the applicant pool and conducting pre-screen interviews
- Schedule interviews and maintain constant contact with selected candidates
- Partner with senior leaders to provide guidance through the offer negotiation process
- Facilitating debriefs, managing offer negotiations and closing selected candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates through prospecting, networking, candidate referrals and other creative solutions for active and passive role openings
- Provide feedback on hiring process and strategies where inefficiencies can be improved
- Develop and cultivate strong relationships with business leaders at all levels of the organization, hiring managers and P&C; colleagues to fully understand business needs and objectives in order to develop candidate profiles that match overall requirements and success factors for short and long-term talent needs of the business.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Represent Axonify and participate in recruitment and networking activities to increase awareness of the employer brand in Canada and the United States.
- Responsible for supporting recruiting and hiring metrics; data management and integrity within an applicant tracking system and other TA systems (where applicable); and compliance of federal and local employment laws and with internal policies and procedures.
- Translate recruiting analytics and metrics to evaluate effectiveness of hiring practices and make appropriate recommendations for change
- Participate in projects/initiatives to build, pilot and enhance our sourcing capabilities
- Support special projects and other duties as required
