On Frostbite, you’ll collaborate with accomplished teams and contribute to the foundation that enables the creation of immersive, high-quality games for players worldwide. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will partner with EA Sports game teams to integrate new Frostbite engine releases, improving integration quality, developer workflows, and engineering efficiency. This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, with three days per week in the office.
Lead complex Frostbite integrations across multiple EA Sports game teams, driving engine upgrades, code merges, refactoring and technical delivery while balancing priorities. Improve integration workflows, tooling, and engine performance to accelerate upgrade velocity, increase reliability, and reduce engineering effort. Partner with Frostbite domain and game teams to enhance engine APIs, developer workflows, and the integration experience.
Guide innovation by researching, prototyping, and implementing automation and AI-assisted solutions that improve integration quality, developer productivity, and engineering efficiency Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. ~6+ years of professional software engineering experience developing large-scale applications in C++ / C# ~ Experience with software performance analysis, profiling, optimization, memory management, multithreading, and up-to-date software engineering practices.
