About the Role The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a key role in managing Good Protein’s supply chain. They are responsible for coordinating and optimizing logistics activities, tracking inventory, managing orders, and liaising with suppliers, logistics service providers (3PL), and internal teams. The selected candidate will work closely with the sales, production, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
Key Responsibilities.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will:
- Ensure efficient inventory management by optimizing product levels and avoiding stockouts.
- Monitor and update inventory records in the management system.
- Resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze demand trends to anticipate future supply needs.
- Ensure all production and transactions are recorded in the MRP/ERP system.
- Organize order shipments according to priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborate with carriers to schedule deliveries and manage required documentation.
- Verify and track orders of raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensure orders align with production and distribution needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement procedures to enhance supply chain performance.
- Create dashboards on lead times, incidents, and costs, and perform data analysis.
- Analyze shipping costs and recommend more cost-effective solutions.
- Compare distribution center and 3PL partner performance.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of sustainable, eco-friendly practices within the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food or consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Written and spoken bilingualism (English and French).
