The Pikangikum Education Authority is seeking motivated individuals to work as Full Time Supply Teachers at Eenchokay Birchstick School for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Teacher’s Responsibilities:

· Be responsible for the effective instruction and evaluation of student progress.

· Be responsible for the effective management of all student behavior.

· Demonstrate an ability to differentiate academic instruction.

· An ability to create an interesting and engaging classroom workplace.

· Speaking of the Ojibway language an asset but not essential.

Qualifications & Skills:

· To be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or be eligible for membership.

· Excellent technology skills.



Knowledge of Indigenous Culture an asset.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work positively with other staff members.
