Accepting Applications for a Maternity Leave Grade 3/4 and Grade 9/10 teacher for the 2025 – 2026 School Year

We ar e searching for teachers who are highly motivated to provide quality learning experience for our students. The Ocean Man Education Centre is a Pre-K to Grade 12 School with approximately 9 0 students. F ull-time teaching positions are available for the 202 5 -202 6 school year. The successful applicant s will be pa rt of a collaborative team who strive to make a difference and w ho hold a persistent be lief that all students can achieve success . Th e applicant s must possess the following:

Qualifications :

- Hold a valid Saskatchewan Qualified A Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain one) and be registered with the Saskatchewan Teachers Professional Regulatory Board (SPTRB)
- First year teachers welcomed to apply.

Duties and Skills

- Perform all classroom duties by being able to provide authentic learning utilizing a student-centred approach
- Must have an excellent understanding of learning styles




- Establish and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment with strong classroom management skills
- Knowledgeable about Indigenous education, with an emphasis on land-based education and must be willing to work with Elders and Knowledge Keepers.
- Be enthusiastic and demonstrate a willingness to support Indigenous language instruction
- Establish regular communication with parents, caregivers, students and their support networks
- Be tech savvy with above average computer skills
