Summary: Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Temporary Repair Person (Oiling and Greasing), located at its Taber Processing Plant. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

We are looking for someone who: Uses different types of lubricants in maintenance of various equipment and pilers.

Drives trucks to haul tools, lubricants, and equipment for on-site repair of large machinery

Performs minor repairs on the equipment. Chain adjustments/replacements

Hydraulic hose changes Replace hydraulic cylinder/fitting

Adjust the tension and replace rollers on the conveyor belts

Change Drive Coupler Elements Understands the parts inventory system.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Works overtime as required. (typically, Mon-Sat 7am to 7pm)



– 10 hr schedule – Campaign/Harvest Inter-Campaign – 10 hrs Mon-Thu. 7am-5:30pm.

What you'll need to join the team: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and provides an acceptable Drivers Abstract

First Aid Certification is asset

Must be willing to obtain Boom Truck Operator Certification

Commitment to work in a secure and efficient manner (adherence to Lock Out-Tag Out, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Hot Work, and other applicable regulations and practices).

Basic mechanical experience is an asset. PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST IS REQUIRED
