Contract Length: 6-12 months (possibility of conversion)
Location: Montreal or Toronto - (BAN in August) 2 days a week - subject to change
Education: Bachelor (Masters an asset) PB Level 3; English (french an asset)

- Perform complex analyses of coupled fluid-heat transfer via CFD, solve pipe network flow, heat transfer and thermodynamics challenges.
- Understand and frame the analysis results within the context of the design and right sizing of an aircraft
- Prepare test plans
- Document analysis, ground and flight test results
- Write and update Engineering practice documents/ Star-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, SpaceClaim and SimCenter3D. familiar with programming, complex codes and interfacing with an HPC (an asset) (Unix Operating System and with programming languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C++/C# & Python is an asset)

- Perform complex analyses of coupled fluid-heat transfer via CFD, solve pipe network flow, heat transfer and thermodynamics challenges.

How to thrive in this role?
- You have a master’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering (Including fluid mechanics, heat transfer, in-flight icing, heat transfer and CFD analyses)
- You have interest in doing complex CFD and finite elements analyses.
- You have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in internal flow CFD analysis.
- Experience with inlet / outlet design and analysis is an asset.
- Self-motivated and creative team player.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office software (advanced level for Excel)
- You have a good knowledge of Star-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, SpaceClaim and SimCenter3D.
