Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Housekeeper with excellent ironing skills to join our team in a private residence in central Toronto.

This position is ideal for someone who takes genuine pride in caring for fine garments and maintaining a couture wardrobe. Tasks include, ironing, wardrobe organization, the day-to-day maintenance of one wardrobe, all household laundry.

This position is also responsible for the daily make up and detailing of the master suite in the home.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:

Laundry & Wardrobe Care

Expert laundering of fine garments, delicate fabrics, linens, and household textiles
Highly skilled ironing, pressing, steaming, and garment finishing
Identifying and treating stains using appropriate techniques and products
All household laundry according to a simple schedule
Organizing closets, drawers, wardrobes, and dressing areas
Rotating seasonal wardrobes and maintaining garment storage
Monitoring garments for repairs or specialist cleaning requirements
Basic sewing, mending, and clothing repairs where appropriate
Maintaining laundry rooms, wardrobe areas, and garment care equipment
Managing wardrobe supplies and laundry products

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will:





Have extensive experience caring for luxury wardrobes and high-end garments
Possess exceptional ironing skills
Have excellent knowledge of fabrics, stain removal, and garment care techniques
Have experience working in a private residence or similar luxury setting
Be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Take genuine pride in producing consistently exceptional work
Be discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy and confidentiality
Work confidently and independently while collaborating well with other household staff
Have excellent spoken English
Have a minimum of five years' experience in a comparable role
