Become a part-time faculty member at the University of Ottawa, teaching International Trade Law this 2026 Fall Semester. Engage students in the legal frameworks governing global trade while promoting critical discussions.

The University of Ottawa is seeking a part time professor for the Common Law Section to teach International Trade Law during the 2026 Fall Semester. This new position focuses on the legal regime under the World Trade Organization. Candidates should be prepared to lecture and inspire an enrolment of 70 students while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach International Trade Law course CML4105
- Facilitate engaging discussions on trade regulations
- Assess student performance and provide feedback




- Develop curriculum materials to support learning
- Maintain updated knowledge of international trade laws

Requirements:

- An LL.B., J.D., or equivalent is required
- Membership in the Law Society of Ontario in good standing
- Prior teaching experience in law is preferred
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the classroom
