The Department of Urology is seeking locums to fill various schedule gaps.

The Timmins and District Hospital is a 225-bed district hospital serving a local population of 41,000 and a catchment area of 110,000. Timmins is located in Northeastern Ontario and is a fully accredited referral and teaching hospital and offers a full range of Medical, Surgical, Critical Care, Maternal/Child, Long-Term Care, and Mental Health Services.

Remuneration is as per HFO Guidelines for the Northern Locum Program.

Your traveling expenses of airfare and/or mileage, local car rental, and accommodations will be covered.

Position Requirements

Candidates must

- have Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Urology.
- be licensed to practice as a Urologist in the Province of Ontario.
- have Canadian Medical Protective Associate (CMPA) coverage.
- have an independent practice license with the CPSO
- have an active OHIP billing number
- possess excellent clinical skills.
- have a commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.
