Pathfind has an immediate opening with a well-established Public Practice Firm. They are seeking a collaborative Valuation Specialist. The Valuation Specialist will be responsible for providing business valuation and transaction advisory services to a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of business valuations, due diligence assignments and financial analysis in respect to transactions, reorganizations, disputes, and tax filings.
- Consult with clients, client’s counsel, and representatives of companies
- Analyzing and interpreting clients’ financial and non-financial information
- Objectively identify risks and opportunities that drive value for the
- Conduct related industry
- Obtain a basic understanding of our clients’ businesses and learn their best
- Advising on purposeful recommendations to clients
- Represent client at networking and industry events to leverage new business

Requirements:

- CPA designation
- CBV designation or enrolled and working towards CBV
- Minimum 5 years of progressive professional accounting experience at a public practice firm




- Experience in preparing business valuation reports, due diligence, purchase price allocations and financial models.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and legal documents in a financial environment
- Experience leading and mentoring

- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Solid time management and organizational skills
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Suite

The salary range is $100,000 to $120,000 depending upon experience.
