What You’ll Do:

- Care and supervision of children, most of whom are ages 3 months to 4 years

- Appropriately identify time for hands-on play with children versus assisting parents upon arrival and departure

- Assist children with snack time

- Greet parents

- Provide quality customer service to external and internal customers

- Ensure defined work performance competencies and customer service standards are being met
- To act as role model within our department

- Assist with the organization, cleaning and maintenance of the classroom including the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, toys and equipment
- To attend all volunteer meetings and training

- Assist with the set-up and take-down of the classroom at the beginning and end of the school year

What You’ll Need:

- Previous experience in childcare or related field preferred





- Familiarity with cleaning and maintenance procedures for classroom supplies, toys, and equipment

- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work/play setting

- Willingness to attend volunteer meetings and training sessions

- Dedication to providing high-quality customer service to both external and internal stakeholders

- Police Information Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Search
