Department: Aquatics Availability: Monday to Sunday, various operational hours and holidays Position Type: Seasonal Reports To: Aquatic Supervisor Purpose Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring a protected and enjoyable guest experience across all aquatic attractions, including pools and slides. This role includes supervision, rule enforcement, first aid response, and delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities Provide vigilant supervision of pools, slides, and aquatic areas in accordance with all safety standards and operating procedures.
Model professional conduct, guest service, scanning standards, and operational readiness.
Enforce facility rules and policies consistently and professionally.
Administer basic first aid and respond effectively to aquatic emergencies.
Monitor and communicate supply or equipment needs to leadership.
Deliver outstanding guest service to all park visitors.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Complete daily reports, logs, and required documentation.
Attend scheduled in service training and maintain certification skills.
Support a positive workplace culture aligned with company mission and values.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support the Operations department and park operations. Management may adjust duties based on operational needs or changing circumstances.

Ability to remain calm, confident, and decisive during emergencies Required Certifications Current National Lifeguard (NL) Certification.
Current Standard First Aid and CPRC (or equivalent).
Internal training successfully completed prior to start of season.
Minimum 15 years of age.
Certifications in AED, supplemental oxygen, or airway management are considered assets Other Functions:
All other duties that are assigned or necessary in order to support the Operations Department and the park as a whole. While this is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, staff levels, or technical developments) dictate.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. This position requires occasional work in or around water, confined spaces-cramped quarters, heights, noise, detergents/chemicals, mechanical hazards, moving objects, fumes/odours, dust, mists, gases, or vibrations. The noise level is generally moderate.
