Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is seeking passionate, reliable, and experienced childcare professionals to join our network. We connect families with qualified caregivers and provide a safe, supportive platform for both providers and families.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a family located in Sherwood Park looking for Part-Time nanny support.

Position Summary

As a nanny, you will provide attentive and nurturing care in the family’s home, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the children. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in children of all ages and is comfortable taking initiative to complete tasks related to tidying, organizing, simple meal preparation, dishes, and activity planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality, personalized care for our child
- Support daily routines, including hygiene, meals, and naps
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and play
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Communicate effectively with parents about routines and updates
- Assist with household tasks such as simple meal preparation, tidying, light housekeeping, and dishes.




- Drive with children to assist with school drop off or pick up or transportation to other activities

Qualifications

- At least 18 years of age
- Current Standard Childcare First Aid with CPR Level B or C
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Proven experience caring for young children
- Valid drivers’ licenses and access to a reliable vehicle
- Robust communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Organized, proactive, clean and able to follow directions
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
- Able to provide recent childcare-related references

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 5 am to 9 am

Potential for additional daytime hours

Start date: August 31, 2026
