Expertise in handling patients with established diagnoses and low risk for rapid decline is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend to patients twice weekly with timely assessments
- Complete admission History & Physical within seven days




- Handle urgent patient concerns via telephone 24/7
- Engage in interdisciplinary rounds weekly, as available
- Review medications monthly with nursing and pharmacy

Requirements:

- Valid medical license in Manitoba
- Valuable standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons
- WRHA Medical Staff Appointment necessary
- Malpractice coverage from a recognized body
- Ability to manage patient care in a non-hospital setting
