Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a Fire Protection Engineer to enhance safety in institutional, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver top-notch engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with NFPA codes and the National Building Code of Canada.

This role is pivotal in shaping resilient environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and design advanced fire protection systems
- Collaborate with teams on project development
- Perform hydraulic calculations for sprinkler systems




- Review project deliverables under senior guidance
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and schedules

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering
- Licensed Qualified Engineer (P. Eng.) in Canada
- Minimum 7 years of fire protection engineering experience
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of provincial building codes across Canada
