Calgary/Edmonton, AB. Pinchin’s Geotechnical Practice across Canada is quickly growing. We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in our Calgary/Edmonton location(s).A Day in the Life of a Geotechnical Engineer at Pinchin:
You will work with a team of engineers and technicians to deliver all types of geotechnical projects.You will be responsible for the delivery of small to medium sized projects and assist in the delivery of large projects.Manage geotechnical investigations including field coordination, subcontractors, budget and schedule.Engineering design and assessment to various geotechnical systems including foundation design, slope stability, settlement analysis, etc.Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and proposals.Prepare geotechnical reports and memorandums.Assist with Client Management and Business Development.What You Bring To The Pinchin Team:
University degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering, or a related discipline.Intermediate level experience in geotechnical engineering with project management experience.Professional Member (P.Eng.) or the ability to be licensed with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.Able to work closely with our project teams across the company where geotechnical support may be of assistance,



such as Environmental Due Diligence, Remediation and Building Sciences.Demonstrated interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to communicate effectively and respond proactively to clients on time‑sensitive items.The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, clients and managers.Proven technical writing skills in the preparation of geotechnical engineering reports and letters for clients.What Pinchin Offers You:
