The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre EGADZ is looking for a passionate Youth Worker to assist in guiding vulnerable youth. This casual position includes shift work and plays a critical role in fostering a supportive setting for high-risk youth. Ideal applicants will demonstrate compassion and the ability to establish trust with youth and partner organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist youth at risk with guidance and support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with youth and staff
• Enforce confidentiality and proper boundaries at all times
• Conduct documentation related to youths' development
• Coordinate programs and activities tailored for youth engagement
Requirements:
• Completed post-secondary education in human services or related field
• Experience of 1–2 years in similar roles
• Must complete CPR and ASIST training within six months
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with safe driving history
• Understanding of Indigenous cultures and contemporary issues
