We are looking for a Manager to join our assurance team. The person will be based at the office of his or her choice in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and delegate work to professionals when carrying out mandates
- Guide and supervise staff to achieve project objectives
- Plan, organize and coordinate team work
- Review more complex files and review less complex files on a summary basis
- Prepare and review the final product (financial statements, taxes, etc.)
and submit financial statements to the partner for final approval
- Analyze and present financial statements to clients
- Take on customer management responsibilities as needed
- Ensure ongoing communication and follow‑up with customers
- Lead customers through more complex requests and special files
- Assume responsibilities related to supervision and management of assigned resources (coaching, evaluations, etc.)
- Determine and monitor objectives and planning for files
- Draw up time and fee budgets and bill accordingly
- Prepare quotations and invoices in accordance with established policies
- Use sound judgment to analyze and resolve unusual situations
- Plan and carry out special projects
- Contribute to the development of staff knowledge and skills
- Participate actively in business development and in promoting the firm in the community, both with prospects and in the development of a new clientele
- Ensure risk management (firm, professional and other legal standards)
- Collaborate and ensure quality control of work performed
- Plan staffing and training needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA designation
- Acomba software skills an asset
