What- the Role

Our client seeking a new Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Analyst who will have very important responsibilities in accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract review (to understand payment terms), purchase order administration, cash management, and following procurement processes. This role also touches upon things like internal controls, project accounting, and financial reporting. It’s a very well-rounded and interesting role! Who- the Candidate

We are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of complex full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable work experience , and preferably 7+ years. Must have experience on the accounting team of a company that has Purchase Orders (PO), with high value invoices ($1M and above) , and that follows robust procurement processes. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, V look-ups, etc.) is required. Experience using an ERP and automation tools is highly preferred. Candidates will have a friendly, clear, and professional communication style.

- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable,



or a similar accounting support role
- At least 2 years’ experience with procurement and purchase order practices and procedures , including executing procurement processes
- Experience with reading and understanding long and in-depth customer contracts to understand and interpret payment terms, and ensure both sides are meeting those terms
- Proficient with data, and able to put in place good workflows so as to be able to track and monitor data
- Solid attention to detail and ability to manage high-profile and time-sensitive tasks, with a demonstrated ability to avoid, identify, and resolve errors
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a rapid-paced environment
- Systems
- Prior experience working with AP automation and/or procurement systems (such as Concur, Coupa, etc.)
- Prior experience working with an ERP
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups etc.)

How Much

Competitive compensation commensurate with level of relevant accounting skills, work experience, and education. Salary range of $73,000 to $90,000, with a sweet spot in the $80,000s . Where

Downtown Vancouver, very close to a Skytrain Station. Working 7.5 hours a day, with flexible start time in the morning.
