Job Description

Home Child Care Provider (Permanent employment, full time 30-40 hours per week)

Work location: On-site at the employer’s home. No remote options.

Work setting: Non-smoking, scent free. Live-in accommodation available at no cost but not mandatory.

Public transportation is available.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and care for children
- Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Tend to emotional well‑being of children

Requirements

- Education: Secondary (high)



school graduation certificate or equivalent
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Security and safety: Criminal record check
- Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Personal suitability: Client focus, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability, time management, patience, honesty
