This full time role requires a graduate-level nursing degree and at least 10 years of clinical nursing experience with First Nations. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will mentor and motivate team members, aligning their practices with Nuu-chah-nulth values while ensuring comprehensive care. Travel across Vancouver Island is necessary, covering various terrains by vehicle, boat, float plane, and helicopter.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical expertise and oversight to nursing staff
• Mentor nurses in NTC Nursing Framework and BCCNM standards
• Champion cultural safety and reflective practices
• Support collaborative service delivery with Child & Youth and Mental Health teams
• Document client interactions effectively
Requirements:
• Graduate-level Nursing Degree with 10+ years experience
• Current BCCNM license required
• Proven leadership and support abilities
• Knowledge of Home Care, Maternal/Child delivery
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
