Canadian Base Operators is seeking Heavy Duty Emergency Vehicle Technician Mechanics to join their Firebag team at the Firebag River Airport. This is a fly-in fly-out opportunity with flexible rotations and camp accommodations. The ideal candidates will have experience inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining emergency vehicles and heavy equipment, and will thrive in a physically demanding, safety-focused environment.

What You’ll Need

- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent certification




- Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Class 1 or Class 3 with Q endorsement (asset)
- Proficient in diagnosing electrical and hydraulic issues
- Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and write service reports
- Organizational and basic computer skills
- Robust communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Physically able to perform demanding duties
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Compliance with client vaccination requirements may be necessary
