Job Summary
As a member of a 24‑hour patient access service, the System Flow Coordinator is responsible for patient flow, facilitating appropriate access to secure patient care. The Coordinator coordinates and accounts for decision making regarding consultation, placement, and movement of patients within and outside of tertiary acute care. They function as an integral member of an acute care team, providing access to physicians, patients, families, nurses, and support staff. Off‑hours, the Coordinator serves as a management representative for problem solving and communication.

Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years recent experience in a medical, surgical, critical care, or ER department
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Other Education and Training: Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS); Nursing diploma acceptable; Psychiatric Nursing diploma acceptable; Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing acceptable
