Organization & Position Summary

Watson Goepel LLP is a growing and dynamic mid‑sized multi‑service law firm based in downtown Vancouver, with additional offices in West Vancouver and Alberta. We offer professional, collegial, and collaborative work environments with competitive pay and rewarding opportunities.

We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Litigation law group at our Downtown office . This is a full‑time, in‑office, permanent position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Organizing and managing client files
- Receiving, reviewing, analyzing, and organizing documents
- Creating lists of documents
- Drafting pleadings, applications, affidavits, and other court documents
- Communicating with clients and opposing counsel
- Conducting court searches
- Conducting research on case law, records, court files, and other legal documents
- Providing assistance on other files as needed

- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and is highly organized
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high volume and quick‑paced environment
- Works well both independently and as part of a team

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

- A paralegal certificate and/or diploma from an accredited institution
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within a law firm
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within litigation
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Experience with iManage is preferred
- Experience with Elite Workspace is preferred

Salary:

$80,000 to $85,000 annually
