Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role as an Accounting Specialist at Western Sales (1986) Ltd., located in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the Finance Department, including cash balancing and deposits, bank reconciliations, and general invoicing.
The ideal candidate will have robust organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Daily cash and bank reconciling
- Accounts payables for U.S. vendors
- Journal entries
- Month End Processes
- Monthly GST/PST/tire stewardship remittances
- Other accounting duties as required
Qualifications
- Experience in finance or accounting
- Knowledge of journal entries in accounting
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Relevant education in finance or accounting
