Summary of responsibilities:

- Assist the pharmacy manager in all aspects of pharmacy operations.
- Manage, support, and uphold the company's core values of respect, customer service, and excellence.
- Utilize knowledge and skills to meet patient medication needs, providing patient-centered care in partnership with patients and healthcare professionals to achieve positive health outcomes or maintain/improve quality of life.
- Maintain provincial licensing, comply with current laws and regulations, and obtain necessary certifications or credits, including scope of practice activities.
- Practice according to legal and ethical standards, demonstrating integrity and professionalism.
- Determine, evaluate, interpret, and provide appropriate medications and pharmaceutical practices to ensure secure and effective patient care.
- Communicate and educate patients, respecting confidentiality,



to promote health and optimal care.
- Ensure practice compliance with pharmacy distribution standards in collaboration with designated pharmacy managers.

Minimum skills required:

- Age 16 or older
- Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
