We are seeking a driven and mission-aligned Senior Administrator to serve as an operational backbone of our growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, agile nonprofit environment and is passionate about economic empowerment, youth development, and building equitable access to business education and financial literacy. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage grant compliance, and support the team that delivers our youth, entrepreneurship and business programming.

Key Responsibilities

Program Operations

- Oversee the planning, coordination, and evaluation of all programs, including youth entrepreneurship programming, financial literacy workshops, and scholarship initiatives
- Develop and maintain program calendars, participant tracking systems, and outcome reporting processes
- Identify opportunities to improve program delivery and deepen community impact
- Serve as a key point of contact for program partners, vendors, and community stakeholders
- Manage the full grant lifecycle - from identifying funding opportunities to application, compliance, reporting, and renewal
- Maintain a grants calendar and ensure all reporting deadlines are metWork with program staff to collect data and narrative content for funder reports
- Support the Chief Operating Officer in cultivating relationships with current and prospective funders

HR & Staff Management

- Coordinate hiring processes, onboarding, and offboarding for staff and volunteers




- Maintain personnel files and ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date
- Support a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture aligned with DEI values
- Assist with performance management processes and staff scheduling

General Administration

- Manage organizational records, files, and internal systems (Google Workspace, project management tools, etc.)
- Support board meeting preparation, including agenda development, minutes, and follow-up tracking
- Assist with budget monitoring and basic financial reporting in coordination with bookkeeping staff or contractors

Qualifications

Required

- 4+ years of experience in nonprofit administration, program management, or a related role
- Demonstrated experience managing grants, including reporting and compliance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a small-team workplace
- Commitment to DEI principles and experience working with or for communities of color, youth, and/or underserved populations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; comfort with databases and program tracking tools

Preferred

- Experience supporting youth development, business education, or financial literacy programming
- Familiarity with scholarship administration or student-facing programs
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
- Experience working in organizations with budgets under $1M, wearing multiple hats
