Lazy Bear Lodge/Expeditions is hiring a Mechanic to join our team in Churchill, Manitoba. We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, mechanically minded, and willing to learn. Pay is based on experience.

This is a hands-on job where every day is different. You’ll help keep our equipment running and assist with repairs, maintenance, and inspections. We work on a wide range of vehicles and equipment used in tourism and operations.

Equipment You May Work On

- Loaders, dozers, excavators, and other heavy equipment
- Boats and marine equipment
- Trucks, buses, and passenger vehicles
- Other tourism and operational equipment

Responsibilities

- Help mechanics with repairs and maintenance
- Assist with diagnosing mechanical problems
- Perform basic maintenance and preventative upkeep
- Help keep the shop clean and organized
- Assist with field repairs when needed




- Support the team during the busy tourism season

Qualifications

- Mechanical experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment
- Willingness to learn and work independently
- Solid work ethic and reliability
- Welding experience is an asset, but not required
- Experience with marine engines” specifically outboard motors" from 70 hp to 600 hp a real asset
