- Production Support, Upgrades & Patching

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Kafka clusters across all environments.
- Manage brokers, topics, partitions, replication, and consumer groups.
- Monitor cluster health, performance, capacity, and availability.
- Perform performance tuning, scaling, upgrades, and patching.
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Configure Kafka security (SSL/TLS, SASL, ACLs).
- Support Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, HA/DR, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and support production/on-call activities.
