Hours of Work: 37.5 weekly, Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; adaptable.
The Food Systems Coordinator is responsible for coordinating food services and essential supplies that support women and children staying in YWCA Regina's shelters. Reporting to the Shelter Manager, this role manages regular food orders, pickups, and deliveries between the Regina Food Bank and YWCA program sites to ensure consistent access to nutritious food while reducing waste and improving operational efficiency. Working collaboratively with shelter staff, the position supports a trauma-informed, culturally responsive environment in which food and supplies are provided with dignity, choice, and respect. Core areas of responsibility include food planning and utilization, inventory and purchasing oversight,
and coordination of selected household operations related to food services and supply management. The role contributes directly to YWCA Regina's mission of creating safe, dignified, and supportive spaces for women and children rebuilding their lives.
