About the role
We’re looking for a high‑performing team player with experience in media relations and a solid understanding of social media marketing and influencer relations. You need to be well‑organized, efficient, and adaptable to work with a wide range of clients on media relations, events, and online campaigns. Transparency matters to us – the salary for this role is between $55,000 and $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Show strong writing skills with documents that require little revision, including press releases and advisories
- Contribute to full plan development with support of the larger team
- Establish trust, credibility, and ownership among clients for tasks and specific projects
- Own multiple tasks for client execution
- Show consistent initiative in driving programs forward by identifying next steps
- Lead the development of influencer recommendations and media lists
- Proven ability to secure media coverage through solid pitch techniques
- Lead influencer briefing calls with support from senior team
- Develop initial relationships with key media in relevant client industries
- Write first drafts of case studies with limited review and input from senior team members
- Oversee the management of the hard cost tracker
About you
- 2-3 years of experience in public relations, social media management, and/or event management
- Past experience in an agency setting is highly valued
- A degree in public relations, marketing communications, or a similar field
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast‑paced environment
- Passionate about identifying and influencing trends
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial attitude and a go‑getter mindset
