Take on the challenge of an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer with a focus on SAGD projects. Leverage your expertise in controls design and measurement instruments to support multidisciplinary teams.
This role requires over 5 years of experience in Instrumentation and Controls, particularly in SAGD settings. You will apply technical principles to generate control valves and instrumentation evaluations while actively participating in project meetings and HAZOPs. Robust knowledge in electrical design practices and expertise in Emerson DeltaV systems are essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design instrumentation and controls for multidisciplinary projects
• Evaluate bids and generate requisitions for control systems




• Review vendor drawings and integrate with project requirements
• Support DCS and PLC programming activities
• Create construction packages and perform interdisciplinary reviews
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of I&C; experience in SAGD projects
• Expertise in process flow meters and control valves
• Capability to conduct independent instrument evaluations
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• P.Eng. registration with APEGA in good standing
