FOOD SERVICE SUPERVISOR NOC 62020

Job overview: responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, supervising staff, training, quality control, customer service, record keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customer complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.

Work Conditions

- Hours: 40 hours per week, covering early morning, evening, shift, morning, night, day, and weekend shifts.
- Setting: Food service establishment, coffee shop, fast food outlet, concession, or restaurant.

Qualifications

- Ability to supervise 5-10 people – food service counter attendants and food preparers.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 – less than 2 years.
- Language: English.
