Become a Loader Operator at Aecon, where you will handle loading operations for gravel trucks in the Greater Calgary Area. Your expertise in operating loaders is fundamental to our success.
Reporting to the Pit Superintendent, you will operate Front-end Loaders in various pits including sand and gravel, along with managing truck recycling operations. You will also ensure the maintenance of machinery and provide occasional relief for the truck scale operator. Specific attention to safety policies and effective communication is paramount in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively load trucks using Front-end Loader
• Offer relief to the truck scale operator when needed
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment




• Follow safety protocols and procedures diligently
• Address additional tasks from your supervisor promptly
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent mandatory
• Over 3 years of loader experience in construction
• A valid driver’s license is essential
• Robust communication abilities, written and oral
• High level of situational awareness for safety
