The Director of Patrol leads the year-round Patrol Department at RED Mountain Resort. This key management role ensures safe operations for skiing, biking, and special events while fostering a culture of accountability and career development. You will be responsible for departmental budgeting, staff training, and maintaining risk management procedures across various activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Ski and Bike Patrol operations year-round
• Oversee shift scheduling and payroll management
• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
• Train and supervise staff,



including volunteers
• Collaborate with various resort departments for effective safety protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in avalanche control with explosives
• Strong supervisory experience in mountain safety
• Knowledge of bike patrol and risk management practices
• Certifications in First Aid and Avalanche Safety
• Experience in public event safety coordination
