Prespatou Elementary/Jr. Secondary School is hiring a temporary part time Prep Teacher through School District No. 60, starting September 1 to January 29, 2027. Transportation support may be offered.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and demonstrate the ability to adapt lessons for various student needs. You will play a key role in creating a supportive classroom environment while collaborating closely with other educators. Experience in Social Emotional Learning and proactive classroom management practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate lessons aligned with the BC Curriculum
• Work collaboratively to support student learning
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture




• Implement assessment practices that respect student dignity
• Participate in mandatory non-instructional days
Requirements:
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Experience in differentiation and universal design
• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Verification of qualifications and three references required
