Reporting to the Structural Design Manager, you will execute various tests, including edge crush and box compression. Your expertise will support our commitment to quality and sustainability in packaging while contributing to essential safety and compliance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and conduct basis weight and edge crush tests
• Execute specialized mill lab tests, including S.T.F.I.
• Maintain quality logs and report testing outcomes
• Advise on non-conformance and workflow issues
• Collaborate with sales on customer-requested testing
Requirements:
• College diploma in laboratory science or related field
• 1-2 years of quality control experience
• Familiarity with TAPPI, ASTM, or ISO testing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Robust communication and detail-oriented skills
