Assist Journeyman technicians in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment for commercial customers.
- Installation of HVAC/R-related equipment and components.
- Assist Journeyman technicians in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systems.
- Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration equipment and systems.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all job functions in a secure and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
- Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprentices.
- Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Must currently registered as an Apprentice - 1st to 5th year.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License.
- Basic understanding of Mechanical Installation and repairs.
- Excellent Math and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.
The pay range is $23.29 - $51.27 per hour. The compensation for this position is as per the collective agreement.
