Responsibilities

- Install formwork holding the concrete in place and ensure surfaces are clean and inspect for casting problems.
- Directly pour concrete by truck; pour, level and level concrete with rake, trowel, float and screed using hand and power tools as appropriate.
- Monitor the influence of weather conditions on the drying process and adjust work plan accordingly.
- Apply sealing and hardening components to concrete surfaces.
- Operate electric vibrator to achieve proper concrete compaction and quality.
- Cast and build expansion joints using carpenters and lacing tools.
- Polish the surface with an electric polishing machine when required.

Qualifications

- Baccalaureate or equivalent education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a mason or concrete worker.




- Capable of standing for long periods and able to lift heavy materials; kneel for long periods as needed.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools including electric vibrators, sanders, coil saws and lacing tools.
- Able to work shifts, nights and holidays as needed.

Terms of Employment

- Full time
- Permanent
- 40 hours per week
- Work schedule may include Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning shifts
- Salary: $25.00 - $33.92 per hour
- Required Years of Experience: 1 year to 2 years
