Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a Supervisor, Distribution Centre to play a key role within the department. This position is responsible for managing and achieving the daily and weekly production targets, leading teams towards achieving business unit objectives, and providing leadership to a team of direct reports. This role supports the daily outbound operations of 40,000 automotive hard parts to stores across Ontario.

What You’ll Do

- Determine labour needs based on workload and assign tasks accordingly
- Serve as key holder, responsible for security of the facility; assist in areas relating to loss prevention, security, and safety controls
- Play a key role in assisting with Health & Safety initiatives by ensuring all members adhere to proper safety procedures and protocols
- Provide regular coaching and guidance to all team members pertaining to work expectations, accountability, and deliverables
- Conduct annual performance evaluations in accordance with demonstrated work deliverables and behaviours; set objectives for team members which align with business objectives
- Motivate and mentor coaches, designated trainers, and team members
- Consistently meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect,



and willingness to help and support others

What You Bring

- 4 or more years of experience in a coaching or leadership type role, preferably in a warehouse and/or logistics environment
- DCCS experience
- Initiative to continually improve performance and work process through feedback, problem solving, and generating current ideas
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; listens to and follows instructions correctly
- Accepts accountability and responsibility; demonstrates skill in confronting issues, problem solving, and decision making
- Good time management skills independent of supervision
- Ability to work at AHP Airport Road - Monday to Friday afternoon shift (8-hour shift beginning at 1:45 PM) with every third Saturday on schedule
