A mid-size architecture firm with over 40 years of experience in Edmonton, known for its diverse project experience is seeking a Senior Architect. They have worked on multi-million dollar projects; Mixed-Use, Commercial Retail, Interiors, Corporate, Industrial, Seniors Housing, Government, Institutional, and Religious projects. They value the social spaces they create and are looking for like-minded individuals that can help propel the architecture industry in Edmonton and expand into BC.

Responsibilities:

- Lead architectural projects from concept through completion, serving as the primary client contact.
- Present innovative, financially responsible design solutions that align with client goals.
- Manage project delivery, including quality, budget, schedule, resources, and consultant coordination.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing technical and architectural guidance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Support business development efforts through client relationship management, proposals, and identifying recent opportunities.
- Contribute to the firm's growth through leadership,



collaboration, and strategic thinking.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution (licensed or eligible for AAA) with a combined 10 years of project work experience.
- Experience working on a variety of project types, including institutional, commercial, and multi-family residential.
- Service-oriented with a strong focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a collaborative and team-focused approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster new and existing client relationships.
- Business development experience, including client engagement, networking, and supporting the pursuit of new opportunities, is considered an asset.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of $110,000-130,000, extended health benefits, support with registration dues, free street parking, and opportunities for growth within the company.
