YLaw is a forward‑thinking, people‑first law firm located in Vancouver, and we’re excited to welcome a talented Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join our team. If you have 1–2 years (or more) of family law experience and are looking for a firm that values the work you bring, your well‑being, and your professional development, we would love to hear from you.

As a full‑time hybrid employee, you will work directly alongside two experienced family‑law lawyers, spending approximately three days in the office and two days working from home.

Responsibilities

- Be community‑oriented, eager to give back and work with others while keeping the best interests of the entire group in mind.
- Be extremely detail‑oriented and organized.
- Be knowledgeable of BC Supreme Court and BC Provincial Court Rules, court forms, and litigation steps.
- Leverage a minimum of 1–2 years of legal‑assistant or paralegal experience in litigation, preferably family law.
- Be fun, communicative, and a team player.

Job Details

- Job Type: Full‑time.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, hybrid (three days in office, two days from home).
- Education: Secondary School (preferred).
- Experience: 1–2 years as a legal assistant or paralegal (required).
- Salary Range: $50,000 to $85,000+ (dependent on level of experience).
