Description

We're looking for experienced Rock Truck Operators for a road building project in Fort McMurray. If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

Essential Responsibilities

- Safely operate 40T rock trucks in accordance with project requirements and Ledcor safety standards
- Haul soil, gravel and other materials throughout the project site
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Report mechanical issues and unsafe conditions promptly
- Follow haul road rules, site traffic plans, and radio communication protocols
- Work closely with supervisors, excavator operators, dozer operators, and grade crews
- Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies, procedures, and site requirements

Qualifications

- At least 2 years’ experience operating articulated trucks in a construction, mining or earthworks setting
- Strong understanding of secure hauling, loading, dumping, and traffic management practices
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Must be available for day / night shifts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision




- Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- CSTS 09, Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation (BSO)

Work Conditions

- 14 days on and 7 days off, working 12 hours per day
